Delray was a lot bigger right? More open seating is how I remember it.

Is Dada's still open? That was the other spot we'd hangout, eat, drink.

Yes, very open.

Yes, Dada is still here and still a good place to hang. It's down our list but we still go from time to time. My office is about two blocks from there.

Unfortunately, a good bit of Atlantic Avenue has gone to local chain restaurants because of high rents. It's still a good vibe, but not quite the same.

That doesn't explain why nobody I know in Texarkana, including plenty of high school sports people, know anything about him. Kinda strange to me.

Atlantic Ave was a great little strip back then. I'm guessing Boston's is still open too.

From WPB to FLL, Delray was my favorite area.

It's Sam's secret to success. Underachieve and lose two to four games you shouldn't during the regular season so that you get matched up with a bad team in a bowl no one cares about. Then you can crown about your bowl success when you win.

Also gotta believe Miguel Mitchell could've held his own throughout the season more than Crispy Clark.

I think Mitchell was hurt most of the year. He looked pretty good in this game at safety. Played at Florida last season.

I am kinda proud of the fact the guys came to the game to win-- the ones that were there wanted to play. We beat a team from a conference that likes to say it is as good as the SEC. Of course it isn't.

I'm gonna enjoy the victory. That doesn't mean I am satisfied with the season.

I do wonder how much influence over personnel Sam has on both sides of the ball. He has always shown a favoritism to upperclassmen and I wonder if that is why we haven't seen some of these new guys more. I will say from when he was here, Bobby has zero problem with playing freshmen.

Bobby also had a truly exceptional incoming freshman class if I recall correctly. Wasn't that the class with Childs, Jarrius Wright, and Joe Adams?
