The thought just hit me that with nil, Bobbie's lack of charm in recruiting is no longer a big mark against him. Its the only way we're going to get a coach that can tell a kid that he knows how to get him in the league... and get a huge infusion of nil cash at the same time. Go Red Wolves?

Anyone else going to the Memphis game?  It's closer to me than Fayetteville is. Plus I can get some of that barbecue we've been discussing in the other thread. Maybe even venture into the hood.  But I already said going to Memphis so I repeat myself.....

The only block right now is not knowing the game time. There's not even one of those game time windows. Just a simple TBA. Not helpful.

This is a 2 for 1, not a home and home. The first game at Memphis, the next two games at Arkansas.

Scheduling who has the first home game or who goes on the road first all depends on how future schedules line up. You don't want two non conf road games in the same year if you can help it.

We should try to plan a big woopig meet up in South bend for this game. Tailgating, hanging out. I imagine this is an opportunity to be a lot of folks' first trip to see Jesus play football.

No joke, can you carry into the stadium or do they have metal detectors at the entrance and do they have like a gun locker at the exit so you have something for the walk back to your car?

Been there, was not fun...was in the middle of the 40 or 50 years in a row they beat Navy and they were taunting us with some lame chant, I mean, why bring out your "A" game chant when you know you will win.  I just remember our retorts were equally lame "We don't pay for school" and "FAGGOTS" mostly. I mean, what do you say when they have kicked your ass for 40+ years straight. Would have been 1994 or 1995

We did steal their mascot though (The little midget guy, not the guy in the big costume), like snatched that little bearded fucker right off the field.  He wasn't even all that little, just a smallish guy.  Few guys run over, grabbed him, hauled him over to our section and then we started passing him up the stands.  He lost a shoe somewhere and was NOT enjoying it at all.  Kicking and just not really having a jolly good time.  Sheesh, it isn't like we stole your pot of gold or anything.

We DID receive a safety stand-down for that one once we got back, but deep down, I don't think the Superintendent's heart was really into the punishment as he was tired of losing to those Green and Gold fucks too and it was all in good fun.  Good ole Admiral Chuck Larson, what a fucking guy he was.  They don't make em like that any more.

My 4th great grandfather, Isaac Keas Cummings was shot in Memphis back in November of 1861.

I assume it is because Memphis has not yet released single game tickets, but, this is nowhere near what I was expecting. As Kramer would say, YOU'RE WAY, WAY, WAY OFF.
