"Bishop" Russell watched DJ's review of the Memphis game. DJ wanted to know why Braylon only got the ball 4 times when averaging 10 yards per carry. DJ decided that it may have been because Braylon was not running the routes right. DJ showed two of same or simllar plays. In one, Braylon ran the route right and got yardage. In the other, Braylon didn't run the route correctly and was TFL.

Mr. Russell went off on Facebook live.  Said DJ couldn't blame this loss on Braylon. (DJ didn't.) Told DJ that if he ran into DJ at a game, in public, that he would tell him to his face and threatened DJ. Apparently, Mr. Russell went off on more than just DJ "blaming" the loss on Braylon, talking about coaches, players, etc.

DJ reviewed Mr. Russell's rant and provided a response. DJ said what he's said on the radio and in the video that he wanted to see Braylon with more touches but only wanted to know why he wasn't on the field in the last drive. DJ said in the response that Mr. Russell could complain about his review but probably should leave discussion about coaches and other players out of the rant.

I haven't watched Mr. Rusell's rant but am interested to hear what he said about coaches and other players.

Mr. Russell is an example of why I would hate having to deal with helicpoter parents demanding that little Johnny or darling Suzy ain't playing whatever sport is being coached. Based on Mr. Russell's rant, I fully expect there to be a lot of drama after the season on where Braylon will be playing. And when other coaches see this, they will be filling Mr. Russell's ears with everything he want$ to hear.

I watched Bishop Russell rant last night and I really think he took one comment and ran with it as a means of taking his frustrations out on someone. His commentary was completely uncalled for and from what I have seen DJ didn't shit on the kid at all. He pointed out a mistake as he's done the same with many others because it's a film break down show not a suck off the players and pretend we didn't lose to Memphis show.

If Mr Russell can't handle this then he's going to be in real bad shape heading into the future regardless of where the kid ends up.

Hindsight is a bitch but the kid that is starting at RB seems pretty solid and I'm going to assume getting paid accordingly. That fumble was completely horseshit and something that can't happen and in the olden days Petrino would have melted down on the kid over that shit and it would never happen again or we just wouldn't have seen the kid anymore

This is how it's been for a long time for RBs...you have to know your assignments in order for the staff to fully trust you especially in crunch time. One mis step or going the wrong direction can blow up a play

I had dinner with a friend who is good friends with the Starzyk family.  He claims that Scott's NIL deal is over a million dollars.  He said he didn't know if it was $1m for the 4 years or if it was $1m per year.  I am skeptical but he said it is real.  He would have zero reason to make that up and I've never known him to be wrong on things. 

Surly we are not paying the field goal kicker $1m to play for the Hogs.
