Yurachek repeatedly said in the press conference there will be a "long on ramp" for this hire. While he's working behind the scenes, I believe the only relevant thing we will see in public is how Petrino is doing with the team.

I should have been more clear.  I'm read for some team news and how BP is doing.  I don't think we will hear anything about the coaching search until the end of the season.

While it's fun to speculate about the future head coach and all of that... I am much more interested to see some practice reports, meeting minutes, changes, etc that are going on right now.  I think Bleedin' is right there with me, if I'm not mistaken.

We beat Tennessee and Texas and the job almost has to go to BP by default.  If BP does good but they go a different direction; prayers for whoever they hire.  That poor guy will be judged against the what-ifs of BP for his entire tenure if he doesn't have yuge success.
