Sounds like we got the S&C situation straightened out. Landon Jackson up to 283 from 238. Ran 20.4 mph. 60 % of the team ran 20. 5 ran 22 mph included  two of our receivers.

It's really not terribly impressive. A typical alligator can run up to 30 mph hour. We will get swamped.

Telling us how many guys we have going 21-22 mph is meaningless unless we know how fast they guys on other teams are running. 

If we have six guys at 22mph and Alabama has 42, it doesn't bode well for us obviously.

Landon Jackson runs 20.4 mph which when converted means he runs a 9.7 yps 40 time.

Googles says that the average 40 time for a defensive lineman is in the 5 seconds range.

He seems slow but then this website says his 40 time is 4.95 seconds.

Linemen don't run 40's in games very often.  I would think shuttle runs and the like would be more important for them.

I hope we have no more than a couple plays all year where we need a DL to chase somebody 40 yards.  Hopefully somebody else will usually be in the way.

and I starting hearing the MPH brags with GT a year or 2 back.  We still sucked.

Yep top speed means little for football if they are giving a guy 800m to get to 20 mph.

This recent data may be meaningful if they've been tracking it for a long period of time. It may be fluff to put out for preseason hype.
