That is when this shit all started for me.  Big Shootout

I could see it falling in place to lose 14-15 way ahead of time.

It was also the first time I saw someone get drunk, Mr. G.W. who worked with dad.  He died a couple decades later by falling out of a boat.  I wonder how that happened.

That game was wall-to-wall national but I do remember Dad turning the antenna to get Little Rock rather than Memphis when he needed to.  I wish I could clue my 8-year-old self in on what is coming - he would not believe it.

This is precisely what I've been clamoring for. We have a chance unlike any other to overcome the disadvantages we face against the better programs. Yet we are sitting on our hands. TT may not win a title but they are at least trying. Got to applaud it.

Faie point. I've said several times I hate it. It's not fair to have fans pay for players, but it is a choice. 

That said, it's the first time since we've been in the SEC that there is an option to overcome the talent disadvantage we have. We will either choose to or not. If not, don't complain when we continue to be a 5-6 win program. You get what you pay for.

I'd just like at some point before I die to see Arkansas listed as a football contender. Right now, I have little faith it will happen with how the game is ran today.
