Dennis Johnson may be in trouble.

In early February 2026, the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department was alerted to an outcry of a juvenile regarding inappropriate actions that had been taken by Dennis Johnson JR, who was at the time, working as a coach for Arkansas High School.

Detectives were able to gather enough information to believe probable cause existed for the offenses of Sexual Assault 2nd and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. An affidavit for arrest warrants was drafted, and upon review by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office and a Judge, a warrant was issued for these offenses. The circumstances surrounding these charges were found to involve his position of influence as a coach at Arkansas High.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department urges anyone with information regarding this case, or any sexual assault, to come forward.
