Sounds to me like he was just self medicating.  Prayers for a quick recovery.

Hallelujah.  New coach don't take no shit.  Jalen brown dismissed.  Take your felonious ass back to Florida, at least after you serve your time.

Sam would have bailed him out, given him a sunny d and a happy meal, and made excuses for his stupidery.

animal

Does that mean somebody up there gets to file a loss claim on that kid's prospective production to compensate for the bag money we no doubt lost on this dude? I do wish we would go back to the days where a coach would say "keed is thrown oft the team" instead of this "He's no longer listed on the roster" or some generic variation.

Players don't flunk out now, they don't get "suspended" they aren't cut....it's way too pussisfied

I just hope that we are smart enough to pay the NIL in weekly or monthly installments with a separation clause and not all up front but something tells me that we are not.
Things of that nature

vegashog

it's believed arkansas pays in installments, like stipends. no school is making that info public. there's no way this kid gets booted off the team in april and still gets paid revenue sharing money. there are code of conduct, moral, and termination rights clauses in the agreement, not sure why anyone would think differently.

if he had a 3rd party nil deal with a booster/business, that doesn't have to be disclosed, but i bet at this point in the game those guys are protecting themselves too.

"Shouldn't be the case" isn't really the issue is it? It "shouldn't be the case" that "students" should remain academically eligible when changing schools every fucking year. It "shouldn't be the case" that someone takes a million bucks to play ball then bails and plays ball somewhere else. It "shouldn't be the case" that a 28 year old could play his 7th year of college ball at a "four year institution."

"Shouldn't be the case" left the building about 2020-21. All kinds of crazy fucking things have happened in college sports since then, so believing one more really isn't difficult.

i have no idea what that has to do with my post, but i enjoyed reading it.

there are clauses in the revenue sharing contracts every player had to agree to if they wanted to participate. the stuff you posted about has nothing to do with that.

You have confidence in the stellar U of A legal team?  Because they've obviously saved us so much money recently with their foolproof contracts and never, ever, piss away donor money.

Lots of unbelievable things have happened in college sports so it's easy to believe another unbelievable thing could be happening.

There I dumbed down the connection for you.

Gruden was way too animated.  A real Arkansas fan says the same thing but has that Eeyore way about them.

Not if you purged all emotions and now regard the Razorbacks as a semi-pro Arena team without the Arena.

"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

So ole Sam took an L before ever getting off the launching pad. Who would have believed it.
