I don't care about either team and haven't watch more than ten minutes of playoffs action this season. Just havent got into it.

Denver is well rested and should be ready to mow down the Heat

Therefore I got the Heat in game 1 then the Bronco Nuggets win the next four.

Yeah I don't see anyway the Heat stop the Joker. Also the Heat are going to be woefully undersized against Denver at multiple positions.

Agreed, but Jimmy buckets will show out for one game

I'd like to see Jimmy win one. Big fan of his game. It's just not happening this year.

Denver might score 130 every game.

There are only a handful of basketball players in my lifetime where I have thought "you need to appreciate watching this guy while you can because he has mastered his craft." Jordan, Lebron, Kobe, Curry, Olajuwon, Duncan. You can add Jokic to that list. He might be the best offensive player I've ever seen.

He's a unicorn for sure. Jokic has that weird thing about his game where a triple double of 20+ point, 16 boards, and 12 assists just seems easy.

When he's doubled he knows where the open guy is, gets it to him quickly and sets him up for an open shot.

The whole offense flows through him, on almost every possession he's setting things up somehow via a pick, a pass, or he scores himself.

Doncic is a PG and seems to create the offense on every possession, but Jokic is a 4/5 and it all runs through him.  There's never been a player quite like him.

The article I posted above breaks down usage rate and bunch of other factors like average time holding the ball, # of dribbles. Not only does Jokic have the highest usage rate in the league he has the shortest time of ball stoppage. Pretty remarkable. He makes everything flow and move with pace.

This is a pretty good list, and while I'm certainly no fanboy of his, John Stockton belongs here if we're talking about mastering the craft. Nothing sexy, just methodical day in, day out. All-time record for both assists AND steals and it's not even close. Neither will be touched. Ever.

I can't remember the guys name but it was a big white guy that played for the Celtics maybe late 90s early 2000s. Dana or Dino somebody...for the time he moved and passed pretty well and that's who this guy reminds me of.

You take Hakeem who could pass and play all over the court. Was very athletic but didn't really show that side in what was a big plodding style of the time. I think he could have played in the modern NBA and probably be a shade better than the dude on the 76ers.

Radja. Kukoc disciple/contemporary. Sabonis Sr could also move the ball/offense and probably would have been remembered more favorably but waited forever until he finally came over in the late 90s.

I don't understand the Suns hiring decision here. They fire Williams who was quickly scooped up by Detroit with a large deal. Then they hire Frank Vogel who has been average at best as a head coach aside from winning a championship with LeBron.

You called it. Only some smoke and mirrors made Game 1 somewhat close for a bit.

This feels like time to get out the brooms.

Wasn't a fan just because he was playing the Bulls in title serieses when I was a kid. I did enjoy watching Jason Kidd and Gary Payton on defense though, and Stockton has 600 more steals than Kidd. Definitely a stud.

And they just made a guy that finished next to him for the job the highest paid assistant in the league to stay on. I'm sure that will work without any issues.
