Hopefully this season is just an anomaly. They obviously went after the wrong players in the portal. Guys from losing programs like Ellis and Battle (a guy who quit Temple in the middle of the season). Offense first players with zero toughness or desire to play defense. I  doubt we see any of the current roster back next season aside from maybe Blocker and Mark.

Mark is a senior I think...not sure if he's in his covid year but I don't imagine he'll be back here. I think technically Devo could be back again.

No player would've ever cussed Nolan Richardson coming off the court. 

Muss is all bark no bite.  He's a pussy.  Everything in the world comes down to one word to get people to perform for you.  That word is respect.  Muss has none with this team.  And that won't buff out.

Nolan was all bark and bite.  And nobody had more criminals playing for him than Nolan.  He kept them in line and straightened their shit out in life even.

The recipe for success and failure never changes.  Muss has landed himself on the failure side for all the same reasons chad morris, pelphrey and every loser ever coaching has.  The players don't have to listen to him and they know it.

And it's not just coaching.  It's every profession or undertaking in life.

Surely must be which is weird to see a player redshirt these days. 

I know he was supposed to be "raw" and sure there are older players that are much further along. Our best players lately have been Mitchell and Graham so to maintain some modicum of competitiveness it's damn hard to throw Fall on the floor. To look at him I'd say he's a 2 years away at best type of player if not 3 which is the same as saying we'll never see him in a Arkansas uniform do great things.

Then how do you explain how Saban, Holtz and other smallish coaches got guys to perform at such a high level?

The list could go on across multiple sports.

If a player told Saban to suck his dick, Saban would laugh and just tell him that he'll replace him with the one of the other 5* players behind him on the depth chart.

I remembered it as Sutton tried to say something and Cutts turned his back and walked off. Been a while, I might be wrong.

All of Muss's former players speak very highly of him. I think he missed bad on the player evaluations this year. It's going to happen sometimes.

Yeah I'm with you on this. Muss even said as much on his weekly radio show a few weeks ago, that after this season in the portal we were going to target toughness, guys like Au'diese Toney.
