Might get the team aroused (some of them) and get a W. Just piggybacking, pun intended, on the jokes. I couldn't  care less which holes they prefer, but hope the basketball goal is one of them.

This will be the game where we win by 20 and keep a sliver of hope alive.

Then we lose by 20 to Tennessee.

We hear bitching about NIL and not enough for the BKB ream, then why is Harp's Food Stores using Danelle in ads and not a BKB player? That just seems odd to me to use the coaches wife and not a player now that it is legal.

Also, I know the hunt group is the unofficial BKB nil but it strikes me odd that those deals are vastly with non-profits. I know pinion was doing something with ACH-NW. that one seems odd - ACH paying an athlete for exposure- and hearing him talk about it on the radio (ACH radio thon and his connection with ACH I.e. cash) was a painful listen. Maybe that answers the above question.

The Cam little Sassy's radio ad is the best use of NIL I've heard.

Idea: have shelter insurance use one of the football players in their non stop promotion of the you know what, that is mentioned every 45 seconds during all Razorback radio broadcasts no matter the sport.

I saw that Nike has used that uniform design for the nba.

If they are going to an alternate then utilize old main like a skyline  (think mountains on Utah's city jersey)

Those uni's were probably a last minute replacement for the pink one's. Can't wear those anymore....

The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

the foundation just sent this out.

so now attending games at BWA is going to cost much, much more if this plays out (I think the cheapest single game ticket price for the new possible amenities was $300)  and then there is the NIL we have to fund on top of the donation (Broyles-Matthews was the requirement for most of the new concepts)

WTF are they spending all the TV money on? They are determined to price out the vast majority of the fan base and turn BWA into boxes/lounges and a student section.

As you may have heard, Razorback Athletics is in the planning stages of a transformative renovation of Bud Walton Arena, the Basketball Palace of Mid-America.

We want and need YOUR INPUT as we reimagine game day and create new opportunities to enhance events at this iconic venue.

As one of the most dynamic basketball arenas in the country, our goal is to renovate Bud Walton Arena to deliver an even more exciting and enjoyable fan experience, while maintaining the storied atmosphere of the past 30 years. The renovations will enhance our unrivaled home court advantage, with upgraded arena features, new seating concepts, creative hospitality offerings, and more.

To help us in this mission, we invite you to take a short survey to evaluate your current experience at Bud Walton Arena and share what you would like to see changed, improved, and added in the future.

Please note, planning is in the initial stages. Some amenities or features mentioned in this survey may or may not be included the final design.

Jeff's "Answer the Call" ended my season ticket.

The NIL along with this may get a few more of the regular folk out of the contributors.

Just answered the questions and thought to myself, "I guess I'll never watch a live game again."

They don't even care if we're good or not. Fuck the people running our athletic department.

They lost me at "reimagine."
I really don't care, Margaret.

Just win baby- Al Davis

Put a winning team on the court and folks will sit on milk crates for $300 a pop.

It's like movie theaters installing recliners with beer sales. Great idea to enhance the customer experience, but if the movie sucks no one is coming.

I'm sorry Elvis......for all of it.

What choice do they have?  It's either raise a whole bunch more money, or don't upgrade, which of course long term leads to poorer performance.

All we hear about is how great of an atmosphere Bud Walton has and now they're going to turn it into an NBA arena with less seats. This is going to completely change the atmosphere at games. How is this going to help us win? Does Cameron Indoor have a bunch of on court suites and lounges now?

is that true though?  I know that is the fear the athletics program sells but I've seen no proof that success on the court/field is directly tied to having the absolute top facilities.

After all, we have great facilities and we suck at football and have okay success at basketball.   Remember, basketball said they needed a practice facility in order to compete.   Well, now they need an NBA arena?   I don't buy it.

This is more about renovating for the fans' sake (which is probably needed) and reducing capacity a bit to prevent some of the empty seats you see on weeknight and non-premium weekend games. And to add premium seating since they supposedly have waiting lists for boxes and the like.

The latter doesn't really make sense though as the tickets are sold out.

For the record I selected the "I don't give a fuck (paraphrased)" option on all questions relating to premium seating, or to all which said "this area will require a Broyles-Matthews level donation."

I love basketball and Razorback basketball specifically. I can't bring myself to pay $200 a ticket to watch a bunch of 18-22 year olds who are now getting paid more than your average fan after proving nothing on the court. I'm pretty close to being done with college sports in general at this point.

Fewer seats.

I think it's partially an attempt to bring in corporate fans and their guests who may feel more compelled to become a new contributor.

We spent about that much for the Duke game, but once a year is plenty for that, and we got really good seats for that price.

A big reason I'm not a season ticket holder in basketball is that I'm a seat snob.  If I can't sit in the lower level I'm not going, and I refuse to donate enough to get those kinds of seats.  I'd rather watch on TV than sit in the nosebleeds.

Yeah I'm with you there. In football it's almost better to sit a little higher because you can see everything develop. In basketball the difference between sitting 10 rows up and sitting in the upper level is huge.
