Still, to go from 3 straight sweet 16s to a below 500 is a massive failure.  There are better coaches out there.

I've said for a while that Muss's biggest incentive to leave is to reset his clock.  He'll get 4-5 years at his next stop.  Another year like this one at Arkansas and he won't have the option of sticking around.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

I agree. This is the longest he has been one place, I think he is good for 3 years not long term. Nothing wrong with that either.

Dick Vitale just made a good point on X.  Why open the transfer portal before the NCAA Tournament is over?
Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

My point about Muss and SMU is they are not going to draw a fanatic crowd. Even with the talent in Dallas and moving to the ACC, he will still have a hard time recruiting to SMU. He's battling UT, aTm, Baylor, Houston plus the national programs for these kids. Outside of NIL, SMU has nothing else going for them. Those schools have NIL as well and a much better tradition of winning.

Some dumbass posted in the wrong thread.  Never mind.

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

You guys talking about Andy Kennedy? His HC winning percentage is 64%, one percentage point better than Mike Anderson. I would hope we would sets our sights a little higher.

Yeah, that's why I see it more as he/his agent is pushing for an extension/pay raise/higher buyout or something. His buyout is apparently less than a million now, or right around there. SMU is not a serious landing spot for Muss, and I think if Louisville really wanted him and if he was really putting out feelers all season, this would have already been done so he could start contacting transfers. There's no reason for them to wait if both want it both parties want it to happen. Other than Louisville , where is a better open spot? Michigan, maybe? If anything it's about equal.

I really doubt Muss leaves at this point, but Fred Hoiberg at Nebraska would seem like an intriguing option. Did well at Iowa state and has Nebraska in the dance, which might be the hardest job in the big 10. Makes 1.6 million, which I'm sure will go up.

SMU would be doing Arkansas a favor by hiring him. The SEC has his number.

Wouldn't he taking those calls on his personal phone so no one could see them?

The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

Can't imagine an Arkansas coach being that big of an idiot and doing stupid stuff on the university provided phone.

Shirley nobody could be that dumb.

Yeah unless he wanted everyone to know he's raising his skirt. Also calling people in Dallas isn't entirely out of the norm for a basketball coach tasked with recruiting young mens many of which probably come out of Texas. Also Part 2: I kinda doubt a HR guy is going to run his cum dumpster to a nephew to spill the beans on social media. Part 3: Where are the plane tracking nerds?

Personally I think there is a solid chance he's wanting money/security but don't know that I buy that he's really willing to leave right now.

I figure he gets a token extension and if we're back next season in the dancing competition he gets a better deal. It all needs to be taken care of soon so we can be focused on which ever locker room cancers we wish to bring into the program for next season.

We don't exactly deserve nice things, because of our retardedness.

We really don't. I'm just enjoying every minute of Razorback baseball before DVH retires.

Any mention why Thompson was absent tonight?
