Boils down to Enos' style requires us to have talent comparable to the teams we play, and we usually do not. Also Enos' style requires KJ to be better and more precise in short/mid-range throws, and that has been his weakness thus far. Also Rocket's style might not work as well in this offense as it did last year, so that also (potentially) blows.

Brandon Allen took a huge leap forward under Enos, but then again we also lost to Toledo at home, and not in a shootout.

I'm more nervous about the season now than I was before reading that.

I'm not even a third of the way through it and it's definitely a turd in the kool-aid bowl.

He seemed pretty bullish on Enos when he was hired, so this feels a bit like a tempering of expectations given our talent level and the number of newcomers we have at T, WR, and TE.
