Pittman has pretty much always said that portal guys need to have some tape. In other words if you couldn't play for the last team odds are we aren't going to get something they couldn't.

I think some exceptions are made when there is some familiarity with the player.

Our WRs are mainly dudes that have proven themselves at a lower level...hard to know if they'll hack it against SEC guys but I feel pretty good going into the season. I don't know that we have a young pup on the roster to get excited about? Seems like most of the rec types are older established guys. Sategna is listed as a or with Wilson...seems interesting but maybe there is an injury there. That stick slot rec in this system is basically where Drew Morgan made a living if I'm not mistaken

pittman said all six wr will get plenty of snaps this saturday. word is kj has gotten the most comfortable with armstrong, and the db in interviews say teslaa catches everything.

his comment about setegna a couple of pressers ago was he "needs to learn to be a football player." i take that as maybe be a little more physical, as in blocking. supposedly the 180 they list him at is very generous. i know he's easy to spot in the practice videos when he's with the rest of the group.

A lot was made last year about Georgia's "bloody Tuesdays" because apparently their Tuesday full pads practices are physical as hell.

Can't play with the big boys until you practice like them. We looked pretty soft and slow last year. Regardless of all the fluff reports coming out from fall camp about this player or that one, the only reports that really give me hope are the talk about us being faster and more physical on the whole than last year.
