Freeze "beat" us last year because we went into the game 100% uninspired, unfocused, and unconcerned. We fucked around and then found out.

Freeze didn't beat us, some combination of player apathy, position/coordinator coach apathy, or head coach apathy beat us last year.

that's exactly what happened.  the sucking off of freeze by a segment of our fanbase is puzzling.

Gus and Harsin recruited like shit the last few years. I'm too lazy to look, but they recruited something like 3 or 4 scholarship offensive linemen the last few years. Gus just stopped recruiting them altogether his last 2 years.

Harsin's recruiting was warmed over shit by Sun Belt standards, let alone SEC standards.

Freeze has been balling out in recruiting but he's got a long way to go to flip that roster. Cam Newton ain't walking through that door.

Gene Chizik says this is absurd.  It takes time to build things the right way and an upstanding institution like Auburn does not believe in shortcuts.

Other teams are getting beat to hell as well. 

Ole Miss plays us a week after LSU and Alabama in consecutive games.

Auburn flat out sucks.  They shouldn't beat us regardless.  I like their trajectory going forward with Freeze as a recruiter, but he's got a roster full of dogshit right now. 

Miss State replaced a legendary coach with a very unusual system with a guy who's never been a head coach, who is changing that offensive system without the personnel to do so.  They also lost 8 starters from a pretty decent defense. 

If we beat all the teams who should be less talented this year, we go 9-3 at worst.  We are better than Ole Miss, Miss State, Auburn, Florida, and Missouri.  If we go 7-5 this year, with a senior all-SEC QB and one of the top RBs in the country, then we've likely seen the peak of what Pittman can accomplish, and it may be time to start planning his exit strategy.

You seemed to have overlooked one simple fact. We are Arkansas. Ole Miss will lose those two games then play their best game of the year.

We should beat Auburn at home but the timing of the Mississippi State game concerns me more than anything. We could be way up and play Alabama close loss, then come out flat against the leghumpers at home.

The next time we beat Florida in the Swamp will of course be the first and there is always fuckery afoot there.

Yeah worst scenario for them, they might be as bad as 2-4 coming into our game, needing to win four of their final six games to make a bowl, and none of those being guaranteed losses.  They could be looking at us as the game to turn their season around.

four tough games against good teams where we might go 1-3 at best and that fifth game, against a not good team, is also going to be really tough because 1) we just played four really tough teams and 2) they may suck and have their backs against the wall and be in a must win situation?  Is that about right?
