While I don't think we're sitting on this mythical pile of cash that we were always told about under JFB, we cannot be broke.  If nothing else, our media revenue is about to increase by somewhere between $20MM and $50MM starting this year thanks to the new ESPN deal. 

The difference between us and Ole Miss is that they are actually spending that money as it comes in rather than being conservative with it.  They are spending to increase the value of their brand, where we are effectively sticking the new money under our bedbug filled, cum-stained mattress.  Being conservative and saving for a rainy day worked well for us in the old environment of college athletics.  It's causing us to be lapped by our peers in the modern game.

I'm almost certain we're still paying the note on the NEZ vanity project that we really didn't need.  Make minimums on that instead of trying to pay it off sooner as I've heard we did at least for a while.  Hell, anything we have financed needs to be making minimum payments only given the current interest rates.
