Quote from: BleedinRed on Mar 23, 2024, 02:54 PMFirst time watching Katlyn Clark.  She is a whinny bitch.  Every time her team commits a foul she acts like it is an extreme injustice.

Caitlin has earned the right. Lots of the best do it.

I still think Bueckers is the better all around player.

You don't want to play a Tom Izzo team in march. Dang sparty is taking UNC to the shed.

Not so fast.

UNC will win easily.

Iowa State has scored 10 points in 13 minutes. Maybe they're not ready for prime time after all.

The two teams have combined for 24 points and 23 rebounds.   Bricklayers unite!

BASS

Shitheels continue their run into the 2nd half, 26-3 since it was 28-17 Michigan State.

1st time I've seen NCSt play. They have some rather hefty dudes.
I need help and I know it.

NC St/Oakland is a good game but I guess 3 seconds isn't a thing anymore.  Big man for NC state #30 is living in there.  On that last trip I don't think he ever stepped out of the lane the entire possession.
Oak Grove in the house.

Show-Me Hog

The announcers were just wrong. The Oakland guy threw it out of bounds, even after the NC State guy might have touched it. And I think I heard "expert" Gene Staritor change his analysis on the fly. He said it touched the NC State player, then after heard that NC State had the ball, he said and it touched the Oakland player after that. Smooth, Gene, smooth.

Neither is traveling. Not talking about that stupid euro-step, just guys  catching the ball and taking baby steps before they dribble.

Texas with 19 points at the half vs Tenn. They had 27 in the 1st round. They are not an offensive juggernaut.

We cannot throw it in the Gulf of Mexico. Fortunately our defense is frustrating the Whorns.

28 percent shooting by the Vols. 1/13 from 3

DK having a bad shooting half.

the rotation of the ball stopped, he touched it.

that tip call though that should have been backcourt, holy cow.

He absolutely did touch it. Then the Oakland player continued his follow-through with the pass, and touched it after that.

snoots

Oakland is going to piddle this away.

Show-Me Hog

I've been watching NC State defend Goehlke. They have a quicker player on him, who is in actual physical contact 100% of the time that Oakland has the ball. Not just guarding him. Not near him. Literally either reaching out and touching him, or bodying up to him. No matter where he is on the court, 100% of the time. He's still gotten loose a few times, but it's a good plan, I think.

Pretty sure the last time that was called was in 1997.
