I suppose Brazile's decision has something to do with fear of competing with front court five stars that Cal might bring. Riding the pine for most of a season will not boost the stock. Might as well strike while the iron is lukewarm.

He's got a clean slate to add some pieces together. I don't think Cal will be bashful about telling the portal Hogs to keep on truckin elsewhere. Maybe he can get Blocker back if that's someone he's recruited before.

With the transfer rules being what they are it's going to be interesting if Cal brings a lot of his team with him to include staff, high school signees, and a few portal guys. You almost have to anticipate that's going to happen. In the olden days that would have been sure enough tampering but now it's expected.

I just don't see a junior high kid talking shit to her about Eric. He was almost universally adored here until this season.

Some of the talking heads were saying part of the problem that's lead to Cal wanting to leave (and perhaps some of the lackluster tournament play as well) is that the money for assistants hasn't been there in recent years and has resulted in a direct decline in development and on the court performance.
