The Tyson plane that went to Lexington a few days ago appears to be on the way again.

What if it turns out that Muss went to HY as the season started and told him that he intended on resigning and moving back to Cali to be closer to his mom and because Danielle wanted to get back into TV.  What if HY started the coaching search at that time and zero'd in on Cal and locked him up a month or two ago.

Would any of that change your opinion about Muss?

How could Muss have known there would be a job opening in Cali for him that time?

lol, wut? if the reported figures are legit, he took a pay cut coming to arkansas. what was the counter, "pay me less"?

and wouldn't that mean he contacted uk about leaving and so the tweets about him not doing so were bullshit? for a guy kentucky was wanting to leave, they sure seem a whole lot of butthurt about it.

It's all horseshit for Kentucky to try to save face.

I'm not saying that he new there would be a job opening.  Only that he knew he would be moving on to somewhere closer to home.  Hell, he may have communicated that fact to HY at some point over the last 2 years.  Something like, "Hey, I need to get closer to mom.  If a job comes open that will enable me to do that  then just know I'll be leaving."  In that time HY put the pieces together to have the successor line up should it actually happen.

Clearly SportFan, whoever that is, knew on March 23rd that Muss was gone.  It seems like that is HY but regardless something like that would have been in the works prior to March 23rd.

I'm just asking if it changes opinions about Muss?

As transparent as the day is long.  But, yeah, some national guys will buy it and run with it.

We don't know what Muss did, though.  If he tried to bluff HY into a raise and extension and it got to the point that Hunter was getting frustrated and Tyson let him know Cal wanted out bad, Muss doesn't deserve any credit.

Muss had no idea that SMU would hire USC's coach much before it happened.

The better question is what does Yurachek get out of tweeting rumors on his Twitter burner? That's a little weird.

BleedinRed

SportFan can't be HY.  No way HY would write this:

"I have changed my mind. I'm in on tang if he is the guy. Mostly because this stupid fan base is against it and so it seems like the right move"
