I don't really care at all.  I was just making light of all you folks who were saying earlier what a terrible thing it was to make them do a Hog Call.  I don't really agree it's that bad, but Calipari sidestepped it easily.

He's just has a lot more polished delivery on conveying a point like talking about the types of kids he wants to bring in. Makes no bones about it...wants good kids that are focused on basketball. Yes everyone says that...but when he says it he makes you believe it.

Beyond that if you need to know why...I think it's more about just taking on a new challenge. Sure it's also about wanting to coach 5 or so more years and having that job security that maybe he wasn't going to get at Kentucky. He talked about administrations win championships. I don't think you can argue with that with UCONN's success in basketball mens and she-males. If he's got the right set of billionaires sat down asking him what he needs...you damn right they have his attention and he to them. This essentially what Arkansas fans have been clamoring about for a while only enhanced by NIL/portal. HY makes the point that NIL is still going to take viewers like you to pitch in...money isn't in the bag yet. I don't know that I totally believe that but sure ok.

She said, John Pelphrey.

I had to ask again. She definitely said Pelphrey, not Calipari.

Now I'm worried which Kentucky John did we actually get.
