Quote from: BleedinRed on Feb 26, 2025, 04:29 PMHe is for sure rooting for the Hogs to be excluded from the tournament so he can say "Told you so!  Who knows more than you retards!"

We should set odds and take bets on him admitting he was wrong if the Hogs do make the tournament.

For the record and to be full of transparancy, I think it is a long shot for the Hogs to make the tournament.  I simply don't see them being good enough to win enough games to get there.

I offered to wager early on that we'd make it and he disappeared, only to come back in January gloating like a bitch that he was right, even quoting my month old post.

Then in Feb when we won a few he completely disappeared again.

I agree as well though, with Fland out and Theiro for who knows how long, I don't see us making it. But unlike our little troll friend I don't think it's the end of the world in Cals first year.

Doc Hogaday

Like all things Razorback, I want us to win every game in everything, ever. The fact is, we're just not that good this year. And now our 2 best players are out. And the 2 guys that were supposed to be our 2 best players have sucked loose butthole all year. We can't shoot, we can't rebound, and we amplify the suck w/ the most boneheaded retard mistakes at the worst times. It's a miracle we've been so close in so many big games.

That said, I still want in that tournament thing they're having this year and let's roll, you guys.

The bubble watch thing they have on ESPN has already updated w/ OU dropping from 60% in down to 50% after their 1-point loss to UK. Our update should be coming up in minutes. Pregame, it was Texas 51% and us 43%. We should be at least 55%+ after tonight's events.

The difference b/t Lunardi's and this one is that Lunardi always does it as if the season ended that day, this one factors in who you have left to play and your probabilities of winning/losing.

Thiero's injury and Z's worry me moving forward. We can't lose both.

Doc Hogaday

Ok so only up to 52%.

Lunardi hasn't updated anything on the information superhighway yet, but SVP showed a graphic of his updated "last 4 byes, last 4 in..." etc. We weren't mentioned in those so I assume we're on the 10/11 line at this point. Ideally, we can land as 1 of the top 2 11-seeds of the 6 that are handed out. Meaning we get the bye and no play-in game. I realize "just get in" and all but playing our way into a 10, 9, or even 8 seed isn't going to do us any favors looking forward.

I hope we are a little deeper next year. I always liked it when Nolan would get pissed and pull all 5 starters and put in a fresh 5 that were capable.

Cal has been quoted as saying he will not try to go with 8-9 players going forward.  I think the injury situation this year broke him of that idea.

I just don't understand why someone like Casmir Chavis doesn't get any run, especially now that we are down to 7, possibly 6 for the SC game. He was a 3 star recruit and on scholarship, so in the very least he could give some guys some breathers for a couple of minutes as long as he is serviceable.

Agreed.  Those guys must all be really bad.

The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

I have read that Thiero is in LA (not Lower Arkansas) for knee evaluation. Cal said last game it was his back.

Sigh.

They announced late yesterday that he was out due to a hyperextended knee.  Thiero flew to LA for a second opinion.

They said during the game he was in LA for the knee, but he was also favoring his back Saturday against Mizzou. That may have been an ongoing thing.

Time to bring in Bud Kilmer to give several of them the shot.

Z's back was going out during the game. I have to assume that's why some shots are bottom of the net, and some shots (back twinge) are 5 feet off.

If no one is going to be left to play, it doesn't really matter if we make the NCAA. I assume we would turn down any NIT bid.

Z was wearing a back support belt nearly every time he was pulled. It was definitely bothering him.
Well, shit...

I think most all of us on here still have some eligibility.

We may all be in the 40-70 age range, but we could raise the quality of shit talking from the bench and provide extra fouls to give.

I doubt I could get close enough to any of these college guys to foul them.  I am about at statue level.
