My guess is he is welcome back if he wants to but he's not being begged (ie zero-to-minimal NIL) to
Pants ironed and back for more

Wait, what?

How long has there been a combine for basketball?

Is it based on the All Star 3 point and dunk contests?
The dildo of consequence, rarely arrives lubed.

I bet everyone a dollar that Cal sat down with him and gave him the advice for going pro that he gives all of his players when they announce.

vegashog

it's a cliché that gets repeated every year, but the outside of the top half of the first round, most guys are drafted on their potential.

if he has good workouts with a couple of teams, i wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with a pretty decent 2nd round contract.

I think there is usually something in Portland every season that features players that may not be up to snuff for the NBA and the NBA combine is in Chicago every year I believe. Been that way for a while. Being invited to the combine for the NBA means you have a pretty solid chance someone thinks you are worth a damn.

I want to say Devo went to the combine last season and ended up getting smoked, came back and never looked himself.

It's interesting that Muss isn't recruiting him. If he's not too dumb, he has the talent to play in the league.

Muss recruited one or two of the incoming kids but I don't think he touched any of the existing players which is very telling in either direction.

The little Arkansas NIL guy on Twitter says we have no large individual or corporate commitments at this time.

Probably semantics, meaning that the big boosters who are funding all this aren't going through the collective.

That makes sense.  Why would they let some numbnut clip an admin margin off of their NIL contribution when they can go direct to market, so to speak.

interesting comment by cal on his podcast. said he's going to go with an 8 or 9 man roster. not rotation, but roster.

doesn't feel like the guys who won't get the minutes they want, should get a year of development only to hit the portal.

Barton Fink

You're not gonna aee many teams with 13 scholarship players anymore. Probably 10-11 max.

animal

Interesting concept. I imagine they'll still be non-commissioned scholarship players and or a strong walk-on unit.
