Crazy how close we are to basketball season.  Man the time flies by fast the older I get.

I was able to attend a practice last week. We've got a lot of speed and toughness. Cal seems to want us to play fast. We have a lot of length and athleticism inside. Even with 9 prinary players, he has a lot of options.

All 3 freshmen looked good. Even better than I expected. Thierro is a beast. If he develops a consistent 3pt shot, he's gonna make a ton of money. Big Z is huge and looked better than I expected as well. Really shoots it well and is tough to score on inside.

Team seems to be willing passers. Saw a lot of extra passes to get a better shot.

hope so. it was officially announced today, and tv and time was tbd.

also it was planned that proceeds to go to nil, but now it's a charity each school chooses.

I know cal isn't the best x and o guy, but i still think he's got a lot more value than most pundits claim; i like the make up of the team...hope it translates well to the floor

I agree. He's perfect for us at this point in time. I'm excited to see the team. I have a feeling Thiero may be a beast this year. If he is we should be pretty damn good.

He mentioned changing things up a bit but will still be heavy on dribble drive. This team should be able to score AND defend at a high level.

I thought it was interesting that Seth Greenberg and Jerry Wainwright both commented that Cal looks like the Cal of old. Greenberg said Cal hasn't looked this happy in years.

Nov 1 exhibition vs TCU in Ft Worth and Nov 9 neutral site vs Baylor at the AAC

I'll be there and I bet DFW area recruits there will be shocked at the Hog crowds, hoping the next Black or Walsh are around

I got a notice from the Arkansas Edge thing that tickets to the Kansas Exhibition game can be bought now.  Don't know if they are on sale anywhere else.
