Thin Red Swine

I will take our chances EVERY game we score 7 from here on out.

Vito Porkleone

A win is a win.  At this point in the season, nothing else matters.  Just win baby.

Gambler

Had to leave the house for a few. Last I heard was being up 7-5 heading to the 9th. I walk in the door to bases loaded and no outs. What a fucking finish.

BleedinRed

Ole Miss just beat A&M.

I now predict we go 5-1 over our last 6 games.

We can still go 6-0.

Splash 11! drop ABE track, too confusing

6 of the top 10 teams lost last night. I don't know what to do with that information, but there it is.

Actually that thunderstorm on Monday night. 100% on him.  Nobody talks about that,  just the popup.

As odd as it is to say, our team will succeed or fail based on Tygart and Molina.

We're going to be in every game Hagen starts, regardless of who we play or even how poorly we hit.

If those two can get going, anything is possible. But if they continue to be inconsistent and inefficient we might not make it out of a regional. The potential outcomes vary wildly.

Yes. And as bad as this will sound, this series has a Kentucky series vibe. We are scrappy, but Tygart and Molina need to be on.
Well, shit...

The most deflating thing about that is that LSU won the CWS 3 times in that stretch ('96, '97, '00).

I'm ready to get that monkey off our back.

CardHog

We're sitting at 18 conference wins and doing research on how many more wins we need to be safe for a national seed.   Why does 18-12 get us #5 national seed in 2018 and nothing in 2022?

2018 - 18-12 and #5 national seed.
2019 - 20-10 and #5 national seed.
2021 - 22-8  and #1 national seed.
2022 - 18-12 No Regional.

Anyway,  I think going 2-3 these last 5 games makes us a lock.

BleedinRed

We will do better than 2-3.  3-2 is probably realistic.  I'm not sure we take 2 of 3 from Aggie AT Aggie.

I think so to but worse case we'd still be safe at 2-3.

Agree. I thought going into this weekend we needed to finish 3-3 to lock up a national seed. Then go 0-2 in the SEC tournament and rest up.
The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

The LSU coach was on Marti and Mcgee radio show this morning and was talking about winning the CWS and how hard it was to do and how dominant the SEC has been. He said "the SEC has won several titles and the best overall baseball program in our conference has not won it once ."
I guess I'll take some backhanded respect.

Oak Grove in the house.
