Is this what peaking at the right time looks like?

The galaxy brains here said we didn't peak early. I was assured of that.

What's the opposite of peaking? Bottoming out?
I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture.

verro

More like getting bottomed out.

Quote from: Show-Me Hog on May 23, 2024, 10:20 AMOn Spectrum website SECN keeps going in and out with an "unavailable" message.

I do not find the game on ESPN Watch even though SECN usually is. Anyone know why?

On the whole I will take these as signs I should not watch this game, which may be for the best.
on the ESPN site, go to the search feature and look. Just type in Arkansas baseball and it will show "live" there.
Well, shit...

Mazeppa Pompazoidi

I was watching the MissStake game last night and noticed that whenever they showed Lemonis, he was twitching a lot.  There were several quick head twitches and shoulder shrugs, like he has a mild case of Tourettes.  Even during the post game interview, he had a few and looked like he was working hard to control it.  Anybody notice that or if he's done that in the past.  Google motherfucker doesn't know anything.

Gambler

Quote from: Son of Spam on May 23, 2024, 10:14 AMIf you have a 2-0 count, you can just about bet the next pitch is going to be down the middle. And yet, Diggs will watch two of them with his bat on his shoulder.
He's waiting for the pitch in the dirt.

Found it thanks, even though it's not in the page of icons of all live events currently ongoing.

Not sure I wanted to find it, though.

This is garbage. They should've just came on back to Fayetteville after getting beat yesterday.

Clown shoes doesn't quite describe our team right now. But, it is close.
Well, shit...

For the optimist, this is called "getting it out of your system."

There's gotta be a pony in here somewhere!!

Quote from: Cornhogio on May 23, 2024, 10:18 AMWho would y'all plug in to Diggs' spot?  Don't have any big boppers withering away on the bench.

Diggs can stay in the lineup because he's better in the field than Edmunson and Lovich, and Wilmsmeyer might be the only player on our roster who's worse offensively.

My issue isn't necessary that Diggs is in the lineup in the first place, but that DVH has him batting leadoff. He's done absolutely nothing to earn that.

Yes. You want your lead off guy to get on base, not strike out every time.

Thin Red Swine

Quote from: BleedinRed on May 23, 2024, 08:19 AMFor a little perspective, of those 10 road loses, 9 were against teams in the top 25.  4 of those 9 losses were against teams in the top 10 with another 4 losses against teams in the 15-25 range.  The one other loss was against James Madison.

I'm not sure what exactly that means other than we have played some really tough teams on the road and I can't imagine we will see that level of competition prior to Omaha.  Once there I like our chances.

1. We lost to James Madison at home.

B. We will be a Top 8 seed, so we wouldn't HAVE a road game before Omaha.

3. What caliber teams do you think we would face IN Omaha? Unless you believe we are going to qualify for the Boone County Watermelon Festival and Softball Jamboree.
