I get Davis has underperformed. I completely agree but this team isn't going to get better unless he becomes the player he was. He showed flashes tonight on both sides of the ball.

I am very sorry and perhaps dense. Are you saying he is good or bad? Because I think he has been playing very poorly.

It's the unfortunate truth. We can't ask more from guys like Knox, Thiero, DJ, etc. I think those guys are giving us all they got. Davis has shown he can do more. That's not saying I have faith he can.

I am very interested in your statement that Davis has shown he could do more. When did he do this? I guess I missed it.

Nearly as I can tell, Thiero is the only one who gives the effort they all should.

I think he's played poorly this year. I thought tonight he did some good things on both sides of the ball. He was more aggressive.

If this team is to have any shot at turning the season around, Davis is gonna have to be a 15-20 shot guy and get back to his shooting clips last year. I still think his best game is playing in isolation situations. We're playing him as a cutter/shooter.

You are certainly more optimistic about his future than me. I have seen nothing from him this year that makes me think he will be an offensive producer. Nothing.

Prior to Arkansas. Every basketball service had him as the top transfer in the portal for a reason. He was one of the best scoring guards in the country the last 2 years.

Thiero has never been a finisher and is worse with the ball than Davis. Kid plays hard but I wouldn't trust him with the ball in his hands to win a game over Davis.

He's been extremely disappointing this year but I've watched him a lot the last couple years. I watched the AZ game last year when he put up 35 and took over late in the game and OT. He hit a big shot late to beat Memphis in the tourney 2 years ago.

FAU didn't have as good a year as expected last year but not because of Davis. He played great.

Well all I can say is you are probably right about his past, but he hasn't done shit this year.

I think end of game there were two plays where Z was the first guy to get the ball and distribute it. The first time the ball came back to him and the shot clock was running down because we have no idea what we want to do offensively. He's 7-2 and a good shooter but passed on a semi open look to give it to a guard that barely knew the shot clock was expiring. Then we give it to him again on that play where Davis got way too deep under the rim and got a bit of a hip check and didn't get the call because he tried to sell it too hard. Davis should have caught that and immediately went hard to the rim and probably would have gotten fouled (for realz)
