It shows that they have talent and upside that belies their record. 

If they keep hitting the way they did they can easily find their way to Omaha as a two seed out of someone else's home regional.

In 2022, Ole Miss went from #1 to unranked to winning the natty.

Similarly, our 2022 team played like shit down the stretch and went 0-fer in Hoover, and had to go on the road on the postseason and ended up a game away from playing for it all. 

Last year Florida went from top 10 to losing 6 of their last 7 SEC series (including getting swept by freaking Mizzou) and playing like the drizzle shits for the second half of the season, and then made it to Omaha and were a game away from playing for a natty.

It's about getting hot at the right time. I have a decent amount of faith in our bats (odd to say) and our bullpen (mostly).

Our starters give me pause, but I think we'll see another shakeup in the rotation. It wouldn't surprise me if we see Bybee break into the rotation. Gaeckle is better coming out of the pen and needs to stay there. Saturday showed Wood isn't ready.

I wouldn't give up on Wood, but he's not ready yet.  If we ramp him up slowly he could be ready to peak by tournament time.   

His velocity was fine, but I suspect a lot of that was because he was overthrowing.
