It's too bad you and Goose don't have GOOD seats to offer.   ::)

My seats are nearly perfect.

They are just a few steps inside the entrance nearest to the Staybridge (where we stay just about every time we come up).  There is a beer stand at the top of our aisle, and a Tacos 4 Life/concession stand right beside it.  The bathroom is right next to the concession stand.  We don't have to walk up/down any steps to get to our seats (a big issue with the wife recovering from knee surgery).  And they are covered as well...not enough to prevent you from getting wet in a hard blowing rain with winds from any direction other than west, but it keeps you mostly dry in the normal misting rain that doesn't warrant a delay in the game.  The only thing keeping them from being perfect is that there are two seats between us and the aisle.

I'm not going to say I'll keep these seats until I die, but I'll at least have them for another four years now that Ben is going to school up there.

they are WAY too far from the action AND you get a stiff neck from looking to your left the entire 9 innings.  I hate sitting in any seats past 1st or 3rd base OTHER than the Hogpen.  And yes, I LOVE hanging on the sidewalk hours in advance, talking to friends, drinking adult beverages....in order to get my spot in the Hogpen.  It's all part of the adventure.

The HogPen seems fun, but you can't see shit from out there.  I hate watching games from the outfield at any ballpark.  Socializing is fun, but I'm there primarily to watch a baseball game.

We are in the first section on our side where the seats are angled towards home plate...the ones that were added in the first expansion.  I never have an issue with neck trouble from watching.  And the action is plenty close to us...especially down low where @DrMongoose sits.

The only way I would change seats at this point is if I could get some between the two dugouts or a box.  Now that the Hogs are in the first base dugout they are nearly perfect for what I want.

One more point I forgot to mention in the first reply...for late season, late afternoon or night games the first base side is far preferable to the third base side or the Hog Pen for the simple fact that the sun isn't in your eyes at all.  Of course this is a disadvantage for the cold weather games as it's usually ten degrees colder in the shade for those February afternoon games.

I've got two on Row K in section 110.  Great seats and will rarely be used in midweek games, including today.  Free to any interested.

You know I'm just razzing you!  At any rate, yes, the Hogpen sucks UNLESS YOU'RE ON THE FRONT ROW and then it's spectacular.  And most of the people on the front row and the next berm level up are there to watch the game too.  75% of the rest of the Hogpen are there to socialize.

If you want my honest opinion, there are NO GOOD SEATS at a baseball park except the 3 sections directly behind home plate.  Those have the best view.

Oh I know.  And I know my preferences aren't the same as everyone else's.  I'm at a stage where I prioritize comfort and convenience over seat quality and social activity...far different than how I looked at it even ten years ago.

I will never, ever again accept any invitation to the Vape Pen.

My dumb ass took my two (then little) kids a couple years ago, thinking we could sit in lawn chairs and watch the game.  Nope.  500 students showed up to stand directly in front of us, watch precisely 0% of the game, and vape like steam engines until we just left.
