same as with NIL - the university presidents and athletic officials are incapable of governing themselves. they all rail against the rules of the NCAA yet who made those rules? - rinse and repeat. a group has become quite wealthy on the backs of students and student-athletes over the years.

hell, their claim now is nothing can be fixed unless Congress steps in.

yet amazingly no one seems to want to break off from the ncaa, why is that? the conferences want to cash checks not enforce any rules other rushing the field/court.

everyone in college athletics it seems is screaming for accountability and leadership but who has stepped forward?

Pay them whatever they want, but make their asses go to class and maintain a B average. That's one way the colleges can get back at least some control. There's no way these little pricks bouncing around are advancing towards their degree. Do away with remote classes for athletes since the incentive to cheat is so high. They're professionals and professionals show up to work.
