That tall white guy just about has to get time because we'll miss his offense and he's gonna get minutes as long as he doesn't give up more than he's giving. I think he had like 12 minutes and 11 points tonight and I don't think he gave up but maybe 5 or 6. 

Playing Brazile a bit with another big plus Adou is something I think we'll see more of....we lack some girth. The other big needs to pull it together and show us he's an all-season guy ,like he was last season. If we can get him up to speed I think this team will be pretty good. 

Davis showed a bit of interaction and leadership out there in the late going. That was maybe the first time I've seen the kid look interested in having a leadership role. Out there pointing and directing guys where to be...communicating that sort of thing. He looked comfortable in the elbows shooting 3s so that might be his spot.

We never lead in the Illinois game, but we were tied for the first 42 seconds. We took our first lead last night with 1:47 left. I think winning last night will give this team some confidence.

We are the worst lob throwing team I've ever seen which leads to hard falls.

David looked good tonight. He has to to give us more on offense. Aidoo had some good mins and now Z is limping.

Didn't see much Knox and Richmond in the second half.

I've become a believer in the +/- stat. Not as an end-all, be-all but as a barometer of how much a guy intangibly contributes to the team.

Richmond was -5 in 14 minutes and Knox was an abysmal -10 in 8 minutes.

Maybe someone on our staff tracks that too.

Davis was +7 last night and Fland led the way at +13. Neither is that surprising for the two leading scorers, but Davis for sure has been good all year the times I've checked (most games).

I got mixed feelings on it. Sometimes it's a testament of your impact on the game. Sometimes it's more indicative of who you're on the floor with. I guarantee you we track and use it.
