It's wild.  This freshman class is extremely deep this year.

I still cannot understand how Nick Smith was ranked number 1.  Never saw it.  Anthony Black was wayyy better.

Looking at the schedule, we have #22 Michigan St. on Saturday on the road. Then we have a couple of cupcakes until the next ranked opponent on the 27th. Duke at United Center.

Yeah I would go if it was on Friday or the weekend. <5 hour drive.

I can't leave Thanksgiving to go to Chicago. It's about as big a deal in our household as Christmas.

My family is driving in from Arkansas and we're driving in from Maryland. Should be a GREAT time.

Damn, that's a long drive.

I was looking at Amtrak's from Cleveland to Chicago. $97 per person and I would get the pleasure of leaving at 3am with all the other maniacs that take the train in the middle of the night. They need to get this Hyperloop up and going.

Train is how we get to NY from here. That is a VERY nice trip. We're thinking of doing that when we go to the game in Newark,  but will probably just drive. Looked into the train for Chicago. I think it was like 24 hours.

I think the family said it was like 8 1/2 hours for them (they live in Bryant/Alexander). It should be around 10 hours for us. Between plane tickets and car rental, we're saving about $1500 by driving.

Do you take the new bullet train when you do Amtrak over there? I would love a good train option for Cleveland/Pittsburgh/Chicago, but the Amtrak times suck, and it's longer than driving and usually just as expensive as flying. I looked a train from here to Texarkana once, and I think I could have walked faster.

I prefer driving most places over flying just because of cost. We've put in a ton of miles from Cleveland to Little Rock then on to Texarkana.

We have not. Sometimes we do the Acela, but that doesn't save that much time usually. I think the train takes around 3.5 hours from BWI to Moynihan Station in NY and right at 3 hours on the way back. Not sure why it is faster coming back? Must be downhill. Between the tolls we would  have to pay if we drove and the cost of parking in NYC, the train just makes sense for us. Plus, you don't use a car in NYC anyway.
