I've said before that the most likely scenario is that DVH never wins a title and then his successor wins one within a few years of taking over.

Look at Mississippi State. Ron Polk takes them to Omaha a million times and they never win one. Then Chris Lemonis (not Polk's direct successor but point remains) wins one.
