Great pitching trumps great hitting. We haven't hit great pitching much. Average pitching...we excel.

What separates us from other programs like LSU is that they always seem to find a way and get the big hit. Meanwhile we play in the dirt and hope the other team gives us charity runs.

Maybe it's just me, but it felt like we started counting outs in the 6th.

Undefeated through the Regionals and Supers, highest seed to reach Omaha, favorite to win it all.  We just aren't clutch hitters.  We thrive on home runs during the season but that approach just doesn't work at this field.
