The more I listen to Vitello the more I've grown to like him.

That said, I highly doubt he ever takes our job. He's created something special at Tennessee. I doubt he's going to want to simply inherit something built by Norm and DVH.

Plus, we're too wrapped up in this "do things the right way" Norm/DVH culture, which is antithetical to his approach of playing with passion and embracing being the villain.

From Vitello's in game interviews yesterday and today, plus I listened to his post game press conference last night, I kind of like the guy.

I don't like him spitting during an interview and still hate the way his players act. Not getting Aloy on that pickoff rundown was directly a result of a guy not playing hard enough.

Yes, they won the whole thing acting that way last year. But they don't have the same deadly lineup offensively this year to make up for things like that.

They've allowed a shitload of base runners in this series and so far have only given up 6 runs to us, 1 of which was a great dirtball read by Kozeal.
