Pretty danged impressive putt by Hovland after all that.

Pretty unbelievable.  Started the day in contention and posted a 40 on the front. Hard to believe he had the mental fortitude to hold it together and win.

I was his official walking scorer on Saturday at the Cognizant Classic back in March. He had such a good demeanor, locked in to every shot.

He made one bogey in a 4-under round and it was after a bad break on a tee shot. The way he played made me think he'd be a good US Open guy, keeping the ball in play and flushing shot after shot. 

Super nice guy, too.

Nice. I'm a standard bearer at the FedEx St. Jude in Memphis and I also caddy in the ProAm. All the players I've encountered have always been really great guys.
