no butthurt was involved.

Seems smart.

When BP was head coach and calling plays, he had his brother or McGee (or someone else who had been with him a long time that he trusted) in the booth to be his eyes on the whole field.  I'm not sure he has anyone with the level of trust to help him get the plays called properly and on time right now.

If I were head coach I'd insist on my coordinators being in the booth.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

I think anything less than how we beat UAPB last year is bad.  You may recall that we scored a touchdown on every possession of the game, and had three different quarterbacks lead TD drives.  I'd like to see Taylen on the bench by midway through the second quarter, and for our backups to put a similar number on Alabama A & M.  Not that it means much, but Alabama A & M beat UAPB last year 52 - 14.

Lets not let that get in the way of a good straw man.

Also I'm pretty sure Petrino has said repeatedly that he'd rather be in the booth unless he feels like he really needs to be down at field level to get in his QB's ear hole. We've got a 2nd year offense and 2nd year QB so it stands to reason Petrino would be more comfortable in the booth.

I doubt he was the one who was butt hurt, though he is generally offended by Razorback football.

I'll miss him on the sideline if only because it was easy to pretend he was the HC whenever they'd show him on TV

More of BLS for your viewing pleasure.

He adds that element of fear when he's down in the sideline though. An ass chewing over headsets just isn't as effective.

My take from the scores of ours and Alabama A&M's games vs UAPB just says how clueless their staff was. We lost to a miserable Oklahoma State team the next week.

So...if we don't score a touchdown on every drive or Taylen plays through til halftime, I wouldn't call that bad.

He's up there in order to keep from murdering Sam during the game when Pittman is showing players kid movies on his tablet.

This team is probably better than last year.

This team probably won't win as many games as last year.

My prediction is 5-7.

Alabama A&M 13
Arkansas  42

It will be a blowout this weekend....

Hogs finish year 6-6.....but are a much better team than 2024...

I think we will give Notre Dame a big scare......3-1 non....3-5 conference

I think he's trying to distance himself from Pittman as well.

I just hope Petrino trolls the world and wears a neck brace tomorrow.

Arkansas wins 59-10

Here is my season predictions:

Alabama A&M- W
Arkansas State- W
@Ole Miss- L
@Memphis- W
Notre Dame- L
@Tennessee- L
Texas A&M - W
Auburn- L
Mississippi State- W
@LSU- W
@Texas- L
Missouri- L

Liberty Bowl against some Big 12 also-ran- W

That is 7-6 (3-5).

Should be good enough to get Pittman a contract extension and drastically increased buy out.

As far as the season, I went 5-7. I just don't see it working out. Colbeertits is a Meatloaf coach in a Bon Scott league.

I've seen enough in the first 2 hours of the season.  10-2 regular season.
