It was Ron Dickerson Jr. He was hit by the player wearing chunky Mullins #38 the year after Mullins was injured. I believe we were #12 or #13. 35 years later and I still don't know how Dickerson didn't score. Your absolutely right that the wheels came completely off that year.

You're right it was Dickerson.

We weren't bad, and then all the sudden we were terrible.  We should have beaten Ole Miss and they went 9-3 that year.

i couldn't care less what the margin is as long as we win. get blown out by ole miss and the score this weekend means nothing.

Given Pittman's complete inability to put together two good games in a row, one thing is for certain. 

If we win this weekend, bet everything you own on Ole Miss to blow our doors off. Conversely, if we dick around and lose to State, bet the farm on us to beat Ole Miss next week.
