Agreed. The whole NIL system is ruined for programs like us. If you dont have something big to play for (a natty or an NFL career), or a coach who inspires excellence, you get your check and play it safe.

How many turnovers have there been in those six quarters? How many decisions to kick a field goal rather than go for a manageable fourth down?

It hasn't been perfect, but it doesn't help that they all know when they go out there that they have to score every time or we'll fall behind and never catch up. They're always playing tense and tight.
