TG seems like a good kid and he is definitely physically talented but he seems to lack the true self-confidence that all good leaders have. Every time I see him in closeups on camera his eyes look scared. Anyone that has been in an offensive huddle knows that is not a look you want to see in your QB or in any leader, for that matter.

I used to tell my residents in debriefings after an obstetric or surgical emergency that there would come a time in their careers when all faces in the room were going to turn to them with "WTF do we do?" looks in their eyes and that those faces were looking for confidence. Even if you are thinking exactly the same thing, you damn well don't let them see that or panic ensues and someone is probably going to die.

Russell dropped an easy catch out of the backfield.  He didn't hit the hole as hard as Washington.  I didn't notice him being really bad at blocking because everyone else was bad at it yesterday too.  Plus his dad's a bitch.

Washington may be our Wingo, but Russell is not our Davis.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

What's he going to do, try to dip my cock in ranch before he sucks it?

Will let me tell you Mr.Biff0.02. You not going to put this on Bray with your false accusations. No sir. Not happening on my time and Gawd is wit me. If I see you Mr.Biff I am going to pray the oppressor out yo mouth with my rod and staff.

I've been watching Razorback football for more than 50 years.  Worst defense I have ever seen.

Same. I might have already said that yesterday.

On most of the plays it literally looks like we are not even trying. And if someone gets past the first level, it's as if we are trying to avoid being around them. Like they're contagious and we have to protect our health.

Do we employ linebackers?

Papa Pigeritus

It's ironic you said that, as I thought the same thing last night. I keep asking myself why we kept running around players and not directly through them. It was like they didn't want to get their uniforms dirty.

Our secondary looks like a pop-warner football game when kids jog down the field alongside the ball carrier. Everyone is waiting on someone else to make the tackle, but then no one does.

They have quit and any NIL money earned should be returned.

Even when that player has the ball. We have a whole defense of tackle avoidants.

The thing that issued me off most about this game was it seemed like ND was just having a "no contact" practice out there. Like someone said, we don't swarm to the ball. In fact, we run away from it. If BMFP can just get this team to show some pride and compete, great. I just don't know if anyone can get this bunch of loafers to play. This season is cooked. Play some subs that want to be out there.
Well, shit...

I suspect the next two weeks of practice will be about exactly that: Finding the guys that want to play hard.

10-2 baby!  We don't quite have the horses this year to go all the way.

That Kelley Ford guy (?) shows us as being one of the teams that would get playoff consideration at 8-4 based on strength of schedule.  So once BMFP goes 6-1 the rest of the way we're golden.

Shirley not with a 6 TD loss in the mix.

Purely a statistical model based on strength of schedule.  It doesn't take into account the anti-Arkansas bias inherent in, well, everything.

by the end of the regular season notre dame will be firmly in the playoffs as the best 4 loss team in the history of college football.

I am confused about one thing that happened Saturday.  Tayler Green has been very effective this year on roll out passes -- with the option to run.  Except we never did that Saturday. I am sure there is a reason, but I don't know why.
