Bobby has shown what he can do at Arkansas. With all the other openings out there, why go shopping when Sexton will play his games. And when the music stops we'll be standing with no chair and have to make another Pittman hire. I'm betting before Petrino said he wanted the Arkansas job he got reassurances that the money for players will be there and someone else will handle the financial side. That's how it has to work in today's college football world. Coaches will still recruit but they'll tell the finance department who they want and how much it will take to get them and then let the finance department handle that part. I'm sure that's how it will end up at most schools.

And I'm 69 and still going strong. Watching Bobby on the sidelines, he didn't look like 65 is slowing him down.

Quote from: HTL on Oct 25, 2025, 09:47 PMThat's what I thought. You're bringing nothing to the table and likely have zero connection to the UA. RMPL.

Thank god I have no connections to the U of A, otherwise I would have to feel guilty for the abortion our football program has become. I am glad to know morons like you are connected though. Geez, why does Vanderbilt now look down on our football program if people such as yourself are connected and making decisions for the U of A.  If idiots like you are informing the UA then we are truly fucked beyond all help.

I think Bobby is the right hire.  Everyone else on the list that we know about is going to take some time to get used to the SEC.

Part of me feels this way.  Especially if we don't significantly change our approach with NIL. Until then, hire who you want but mothing will change.

It's time to revisit tarring and feathering the old geezers who are stopping the university from giving Nolan his statue.

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Come on, where are your clever witticisms about how much money you have or watching Sam on the lake boinking his fat wife? Your slipping dude. I am convinced at this point you have a humiliation fetish you have to fulfill on woopig. Please share some of your hot strats for cornering the stock market. We need to pump those NIL numbers up

We have met the enemy. He is us.

In the early years of his dementia, the father of our program lamented that we were only 9th in potential in the SEC. That was in the bottom 20% of the conference at the time.

Sometimes it's not a curse. Sometimes it's learned behavior. A self-fulfilling prophecy.

Anyone who thinks the old BMFP no longer lurks inside our current interim HC might want to ask the sideline official who got one entire half of his face blistered off receiving our coach's opinion on a "bullshit call".

Only as old as you feel. He still has the fire, that's obvious.

Don't forget the current messiah of college football, curt cignetti, is Bobby's same exact age. For the ones thinking he's too old.

Hey other GT fan, I went to the game yesterday, sat in row 1 at the 27-yard line behind Tech's bench.  It was great.  The stands are high enough to see over everybody.  I was behind the defense.

I knew Syracuse was their best chance to drub somebody.

As far as Petrino and Arkansas goes, George Patton would not have had a good record at the Alamo either.

but Curt Cignetti uses Just For Men I think

Petrino's age is not what it used to be.
Splash 11! drop ABE track, too confusing

The younger BMFP could multitask though. He would've realized we should've kicked a field goal instead of punting while yelling at the official. Grandpa got too tied up with telling and messed that up

We have a 50% kicker at that range don't we?
