Pringle was ass.

I forgot Pringle was on the team.
The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

Today, Saturday, December 13, 2025, following Arkansas's 93-86 victory over Texas Tech, John Calipari's postgame interview was well-received for his praise of his team's effort, emphasizing they "earned this today," and his comments regarding the physicality of the game and how the team managed it.
Key takeaways from the popular interview:
  • Praise for the team's fight: Calipari highlighted his team's resilient mindset, noting that they fought until the very end to secure the win.
  • "We earned this today": He expressed how proud he was of the players' performance in a tough, high-stakes game against a ranked opponent.
  • Managing physicality: He discussed the intense, physical nature of the matchup, noting that they were down at halftime but adjusted their play in the second half to overcome the deficit, showcasing their ability to handle a "street fight" type of game.
  • Blocking out noise: Calipari mentioned instilling a mindset in his players to block out outside noise, which helped them focus and deliver when it mattered most.
  • Dallas love: He expressed his appreciation for playing in Dallas, noting the strong fan support and how it felt like a home game for the Razorbacks.
The interview was generally liked for his positive energy, focus on team effort and resilience, and his direct and engaging communication style with the media.

I'm pretty sure a good chunk of our team talks a lot of shit every game.

There are several on our team I would not tuck around with. Richmond prolly first on that list.

Great win.

He talked about every player in the rotation eventually. Specific things he was working on with them. How proud he was of how they were able to take to the coaching, etc. Was also very complimentary of Texas tech and how did they were.

Just catching up after hitting monster tickets to finish at oaklawn. We will go as Knox goes. I'm convinced of that.

Cal is a stud.

Wagner played great D.  Really disruptive.

Ewins balls dropped.  If he gets us points on the block like today, we are going to be a problem.  He's the only back to the basket guy we have.
He did a great job on the glass, a couple of his offensive rebounds led to a 3 point play and a Brazile 3.

Knox looked smooth today.  He wasn't pressing and was back to affecting the game with great energy.  He blocked shots, got rebounds and defended like the All SEC player we thought he was.

Acuff is just a joy to watch.  He controls the game and has a 4 to 1 assist to turnover ratio.  Only Lee Mayberry did better at 5 to 1.  He's better offensively though.  He's a 20 piece guy and a total player.  What exactly is his weakness?  I cant find it.

Thomas struggled some but you just look at him and know he's going to get 35 in one of these.  He plays great defense too.  His steal on the missed dunk was great.  I disagree about him having a bad game, he was havoc on the defensive end.

Brazile.  Just wow.  He was the best player on the court in all aspects in the 2nd half.  He made 3s.  He drove and dunked. He got boards.  He played great defense.  Looked like an All American.

Cal.  Cal is such a goat.  He's a stud and he's pulling all the right strings with this group.  Our plays are fantastic.  The offense is smooth and the team is connected. He's a legend and he's coaching at a level Kentucky fans recognize from his title team. They are crying and it is glorious.

You can tell the team bought into the preseason gauntlet. They dropped the first two games but never gave up. Things they were failing to do vs Michigan State and Duke are much better now.

We're going to be clicking come conference play

Lots of folks watched it on phones during Graduation at BWA (including me) and chancellor in closing remarked numerous grads were giving him updates as they were walking across the stage.

Toppin was walking all day long, is there a rule they don't call walking in nba arenas?

Good win!

What a fantastic game.  Our fans had to outnumber theirs 3 to 1, it was impressive. Felt like a home game once we got back into it.

Their band and cheerleaders traveled, why didn't ours?  They even had seats reserved for our band unused.  Fayetteville is pretty much the same distance as Lubbock. Without that organization it impacts the fans, same happened with the games in DFW last year.

Speaking of traveling, Toppin is good but everyone in the arena was on the refs about him taking steps.  Frustrating.

Brazile is our soul this year.  Stepping up big time when we need it.  He directs the younger players on where to be and what to do, he pumped up the crowed and got them into it.  Shut down Toppin at the end on defense and made offensive plays when we needed him to.  Epic improvement this season.

We are still vulnerable inside.  Pringle plays soft for all that bulk, Ewin is smaller but he was busting his ass trying at least.

Acuff makes everything look effortless.  I looked Boogie but he'd be riding the bench if he came back.

All this was probably already said, but I'm not reading back through 8 pages.  I'm drunk.

Absolutely epic game, so much fun.

If only we had someone directing our athletic department who could coordinate such things to help our gameday atmosphere,  etc.
