I suspect it might be because Cal is different than Pittman.

Acuff is wayyyy better than Fland.  I would rather have Fland than Wagner though.

Concerning Knox and Wagner:

For this team to make a deep run in the tournament, those guys have to figure it out.  At least play as well as they did last year.  Sealy did the things today, come in the game and make plays when presented and not force, that they should be doing.

He was. I think as a team, we just happened to gel after he went out. Same could've happened if he was still healthy.

I also think he played better with Cal's freedom than he has at FL. He has been much better of late though.

I know Nick Smith was heavily "managed" by someone other than our coach (Musselman).  Wasn't that also a problem with Boogie, although not as badly, or am I misremembering ?

I don't think Boogie was "managed". At least nothing came out about it. He injured his thumb during the FL game. Surgery seemed to be the only option as soon as it happened.

yep, you could tell by the way he started the season and the way he played after the injury, including when he tried to come back. he lost a bunch of money on not getting drafted.

speculation was smith came to arkansas with a bum knee and the "procedure" he had was a little more involved than just a scope. i guess some can argue about the management part.

I don't think Boogie has played himself into any more money or an higher pick either. Hopefully he made out with a good bag at Florida but he's probably going to have to get another ncaa bag next year if he's going for a first round pick. I don't think he's even a fringe first rounder this year, but its a deep class. Maybe he returns here for some chicken nuggies.

Yesterday was a quad 2 win. Lsu was quad 2. Georgia just beat them at home, so they will probably come out with their hair on fire. We don't need a quad 2 loss.

LSU was a quad 1 win at the time, but not sure it makes any difference.
