Gafford would be sick too, but I think Jaylin offered a lot more than just being a charge taker. He just became known for it given the rules then. Our bigs are just slims and don't offer anything of particular importance on offense or defense. Pringle and Ewin combined for 43 last night and a whopping 3 points and 8 total rebounds.

Comparing Acuff and Mayberry's freshman year stats and its pretty wild how close they are. Very similar in many categories except scoring and steals.

Mayberry's professional teams had a record of 139–357 in games in which he played, giving him a career winning percentage of .280.  "As of January 2022, Mayberry has the lowest career winning percentage of any player who appeared in 400 or more games."

Mayberry has always been my favorite player and I had no idea he shot 44% from 3 as a freshman. Acuff doing it at the volume he's taking them is just incredible.

Do y'all remember that the knock on Acuff in HS was that he was supposedly a ball hog and not a great shooter from deep?
