Hogs vs UT Arlington

Gaeckle sucked today (allowed 2 base runners in 5 of his 6 innings). An SEC lineup drives those runners in, runs him earlier, and makes the score look a lot worse than it was.

Brumbaugh is now batting under .100 and needs to sit. We can't have 4 automatic outs at the bottom of the lineup in him, Pompey, Souza and Niu.

Pompey and Souza are both under the Mendoza Line at .176 and .194, respectively.

I brought this up during the game, but in the 2nd or 3rd inning, ESPN showed a stat but comparing our offensive stats through our first 9 games in 2025 and this year.

Strikeouts - WAY up (like 30 more this year)

I've said this as nauseum, but this team is not good. I have zero faith in the lineup turning it around, and our rotation is shaky.

Right now this team feels like a 3 seed in someone else's regional, and that's only if this isn't a redux of 2016.

Right now I don't see us making a regional.
