He does that EVERY FREAKING GAME. It is exhausting.

Imagine him and Rick Schaeffer calling a game.

Could be worse.  I remember Greg Childs running all the way down the field, fumbling in the end zone, falling on his own fumble, and then Verne saying "was that an incomplete pass"?

Quote from: BASS on Oct 03, 2026, 03:55 PMcan we get a welfare check on hogfan58? I'm afraid he's had too much to drink for his own good.

Right after I posted this, didn't he get pulled?
I need help and I know it.

After playing like crap, Mizzou playing very good this week. Two teams that were riding high last week and playing like shit today are Florida and Mississippi State earlier.

That's just what college teams do, for the most part. Under that logic, and you don't exactly have to be Nostradamus to see this coming, we'll play like shit after a win, and A&M will bounce back after two bad losses.

Mizzou is playing like we should just skip that game

Maybe a series of exhibition games against teams who won't make the FCS Playoffs

Thin Red Swine

Quote from: BASS on Oct 03, 2026, 11:17 AMRb just dropped a td screen pass. I bet Bobby is eating his ass.

Nah. He saves that for Jessica.

Thin Red Swine

Golesh is gonna ride this ass quarterback to his own demise.

The defense is getting worn out again.

Show-Me Hog

Mizzou going in dry. Holy shit.

jdcatty

The reverse jinx of woopig is intact.  We badmouth Mizzou, and they immediately come out and rip up No. 8 Fla.

Auburn broke a big run that they desperately needed... because their QB is somehow worse than run-of-the-mill ass when he has to throw.

i wonder how much he paid the guy to follow him to auburn. he has as many int as td and no pocket awareness. he will end up getting run to death.

Yes. He's actually a pretty good running back.

And then a great play call for the type of TD that won a Heisman for Tim Heblow.

sumrall not looking like the sure fire genius he was being made out to be after last weekend.

DrMongoose

Damn, Eli finally gonna beat a sec team with a winning record.

Verne had gone full senile by the late 2000s. The fact he hung on until 2016 was remarkable.

I did love his call late in that Ole Miss game in 2014. "He's got a convoy. He's got a chance. Rohan Gaines, touchdown Arkansas!"
