Even Whittingham admitted there wasn't time lol

Clemson needs to acknowledge that they don't have the speed of LSU.  They can't outrun them to the corners.

What do you expect?  Only 4% of the offense is installed.

I bet you $0.01 that the official explanation is the time kept by the officials didn't match the TV game clock.  The two were off by a few seconds.

The TV clock was a cropped shot of the game clock, so that explanation doesn't fly

TV clock and game clock (assume you mean the score board clock) are not necessarily synced with the clock kept by the officials on the field.

We have no way of knowing what the refs official clock said.

Sounds plausible. Except the Ref announced to the booth that the last play should reset all clocks to :09, from :08. Then they added :01 to :00.

SEC refs:

The same people demanding everyone embrace your beliefs, have zero tolerance and condemn another for embracing theirs.  Oh, the irony.

The stadium had a clock that was synced with NBC.
NBC had a clock that was synced with the stadium.

The refs had a different clock that nobody else is apparently allowed to see or record.  Western Michigan needs to file the lawsuit in a court in Ohio.

Where was this clock? It looks superimposed onto another scoreboard because of the 9 to the right.

So if I have this correct the player for WMU #18 touched the ball out of bounds and in that instant the ball is dead magically because we're supposed to suspend belief that clock operators always stop the clock in that same instant every single time despite clear evidence that it usually takes clock operators to stop finger fucking long enough to do their job which usually is a few seconds after the ball has hit the ground etc.

What does the clock operator have to do with the refs ability to look at the video and independently see when the touch vs clock happened.

That's the thing. It's never stopped immediately on any other play in the game. Why does it magically change because it's the last play?

The same thing happened one year with Nebraska-Texas in the Big 12 championship game. Bullshit then, bullshit now.

That was SEC level clock/ref coordination
