warriors shopping draymon. lets see who bites on that.

Some of these rumored trades for Giannis are crazy. Teams giving up their future for one player who has been injured an awful lot over the last 5 years.

Crazy that Ja Morant basically has no trade value at only 26 years old.

"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

He seems to be injured alot and the off the court stuff has put a mark on him.  I hate it cause he is a good player.

Isaiah Joe gets the rare start w/ SGA out today. Delivers w/ 22 pts (6-11 3pt) and 5 steals in a win over Cleveland.

Fun to have several former Hogs contributing around the league.

Our JWill (not the other one on OKC) mixing it up with Jokic.

NBC doing throwback broadcast on Tuesday.

Costas doing the game with Doug Collins and Fratello. Got Hannah Storm in studio. Give me all the 90s nostalgia.

Damn I used to love the NBA. I just can't even hardly watch it anymore.

Same.  Once all the Dream Teamers retired, I went to college and pretty much switched to college basketball.

BleedinRed

The NBA and college basketball died once they decided defense wasn't needed.  They stopped calling offensive fouls and stopped calling travel/carry.  Now it is a circus event more than a sporting event.

AporkalypseNow

Jaylin has been on a tear lately... 30 points a few nights ago, 17 pts 17 boards the other night.  Tons of 3s and assists for a center.

Not shocked he came into his own, he always had a unique skill set

Doc Hogaday

I've always loved both NBA and college basketball. Things change. Deal with it. I was born in 1981 and America has changed a lot over these years but I'm still grateful to wake up here every morning.

People complain about defense in the NBA but scoring was literally at an all-time low in the 2000s when people "quit watching." The shot clock changes and the Steph Curry effect are real, and that's why pace and scoring are back up. It has nothing to do w/ defense or lack thereof. The players these days are unbelievable athletes.

Old whiteys quit watching because players got tattoos and have weird hair and shoes in their opinion.

I do agree w/ the traveling or the lack of calling it. It's maddening at both the college and NBA level. If you want to change the rule to 3 steps, then do that and stick to it. There has to be a rule that is consistent.

Also jump balls. In my days of playing it was a held ball for 2 seconds. Now they call it in a quarter second.

Fair point. The thug era drove a lot of people away. For me, it's more that I would have to watch the garbage commercials. There's lots of suffering dog and RuPaul commercials on the alternate channels. Plus, ESPN pretty much killed off my love for any  sport.

Agree. I get the need of ads for revenue, but they don't get shit from me. I rarely watch any sporting event without starting 30-45 minutes late to skip commercials and catch up in real-time.

In 10 years college basketball games will average 3:30.

Some people may not like to hear it, but Nolan's team wouldn't be as dominant in this climate. Too many commercials, too many breaks for the opposing kids. Grab a juicebox, Nancy.

Anyone following this story about the Hawks having a promotion involving a famous local strip club?  Apparently its a very popular place for players to frequent when in town.  Personally I don't think its a good idea.

Atlanta news station story

Also learned that Jamie Gertz is one of the owners of the Hawks.

Barton Fink

I'm guessing it's Magic City. Place is infamous. For another funny story Google Lemon Pepper Lou.

The story spells it Jami Gertz. I am somehow doubting it is the Jamie Gertz from Square Pegs, Too Low For Zero, and Seinfeld.

Also unsure whether there was a sarcasm tag.
