Quote from: Barton Fink on Feb 09, 2024, 10:16 AMAdrian Griffin was the previous coach in his FIRST year. They were like 31-13 and just behind Philly I think. Doc was brought in as an "advisor" at rhe beginning if the year. Shitty deal for Griffin.

I see. Thank you very much.
I really don't care, Margaret.

Griffin was fired because Giannis wanted him gone.

I don't know what their record was but the Bucks have struggled badly on defense the entire season.

I know they were getting smoked by the Pacers and some of the other good teams.

"I got fired for using free speech" yea imagine getting killed over it

Mason Jones is signing a 2-way deal w/ Sacramento.

He's going to play offense AND defense?

Nah, he would have found a way to screw that up too.

Yeah, he would have shown up late to the title game.
Oak Grove in the house.

Gafford to Dallas seems to be a great fit both ways.

He's on a winner that's been trying to get him for two years, gets to play with Luka who creates scoring opportunities for post players, etc and the Mavs desperately needed another post defender, rebounder, and lob threat.

I'm glad to have a former Hog that I can go watch in person.

Doc Hogaday

Pretty solid first outing for DG in Dallas. 19 pts & 9 reb in 17 minutes off the bench w/ still 7:00 left in the 4th quarter.

He started as Lively was out tonight, ended with 16 pts, 17 boards in 24 minutes.

They love him in Dallas. He's there because Luka wanted him specifically

Thin Red Swine

Purists are screaming but it's pretty surreal to see a scoreboard click to 200.

As they say, that's hard to do against air.

Lol Adam has spent the last several months saying he wanted to get back to competitive All-Star games, just for that shitshow to happen.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

I had no idea it was all-star weekend. I've been so preoccupied by not giving a fuck lately that I not gave a fuck even more so than usual.

Lebron just hit 40,000 points.

And still not the best player to ever play the game.

Doc Hogaday

Yeah. I guess Lebron is bigger, faster, stronger...and a significantly better shooter, rebounder, and passer than MJ. But, unfortunately, we'll just never know who was better at basketball.

P.F.ing.S.  Don't bring up 6 rings vs 4. That's a lazy take. It's like saying Horace Grant was better than Karl Malone, and John Paxson/BJ Armstrong were better than John Stockton.

He's just pure beast of an athlete and has taken great care of his body. He literally looks like he could play another 5 years at a high level. Sucks MJ took that time off in his prime to F with baseball.

Exactly. Look, I like both Lebron and Mike. Neither are my favorite. But comparison isn't even close anymore

He's not just the greatest basketball player of all-time, he's the greatest athlete of all-time. Coulda been the best WR of all-time as well as the best edge rusher of all-time.

I don't watch much soccer but did during the 2014 World Cup. My few friends that do watch soccer were cumming their pants about whomever our goalie was. My response was give Lebron 3 months to learn this sport/position and he's probably the best to ever do it.

They listed dude at 6'8, 240 back in the day but he was really running at about 275/280 during his prime and still had the quickest first step in the NBA. Force = Mass x Acceleration.
