I don't know. I'm guessing our staff's evaluations are not exactly on the mark. I know they are wanting size and defense but at some point it does help if you can dribble, pass, and shoot as well.

These small teams seem to play basic, decent defense, but seem to be more offense oriented. They can damn sure shoot. And they always have a good big man inside.

sdsu is not a small school and has had a pretty damn good basketball program for a while. won 20+ with two 30+ seasons 9 out of the last 10 years.
