FAU choked it away on those missed FT rebounds by SDST. State missed a lot of FTs at the end but got the rebound nearly every time.

I agree. They had called a lot less contact on FAU fouling SDST. That last shot by FAU, the shooter was fouled but no call. That would have sealed it. But you could see who the zebras wanted to win.

There was that one stretch in the second half, when we were behind by like 200 points, that our pressure bothered UConn.

They look like that for the last several minutes. I guess that's one part of the basketball game they are deficient in, but it might be the only one.

UConn always plays better in the second half. Miami fooked.  It's hilarious to listen to these halftime announcers try to keep interest. 

I don't want Miami to score over 65.  They have to get 42 in the second half to beat the Hogs output of 65.  I'm not betting on it myself.

Remember that post-game stat that we missed a higher number of easier shots than expectation, and Connecticut made a higher number of difficult shots than expectation?

I think I see a pattern. Connecticut, not chance or bad luck, causes those stats.

The way they were playing I'm not so sure we would have beat them with a fully knee managed Nick Smith and Brazile but then again we would have likely been a much higher seed and might not have faced them at all.
